The Greene County Regional Airport Authority owns the airport and is comprised of seven members of the community. They decide the course and future of the Greene County Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport and are appointed to the Board by the Greene County Commissioners for 3 year terms.
Airport Authority regular meetings are normally held every 4th Thursday of the month in the airport terminal building at 5:00pm (3rd Thursday in Nov/Dec). Teams or Zoom is used on some occasions when the terminal building facilities are unavailable or other circumstances dictate. Meeting notices, as well as other public information, are posted in advance by the Airport Manager's office door each month on the bulletin board. Those who wish to place an item on the agenda must submit their request in writing to the Airport Manager a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the meeting (email preferred). The meetings are open to the public.
The Airport Manager's typical hours are 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday - other hours by appointment.
